A mind-body workshop for a group of pregnant women

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, in partnership with UK-Med, held two workshops for pregnant and breastfeeding women on the importance of breastfeeding and its role in the health and well-being of both mothers and children.

The workshops addressed the impact of psychological stress on the breastfeeding experience and breast milk production, and equipped participants with Mind-Body skills to reduce the effects of stress and support a more comfortable and stable breastfeeding experience.

Breastfeeding is not only a way to nourish a baby; it is a journey during which mothers need support, care and reassurance. Through our various projects, we provide psychosocial support for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

If you need support, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Taking care of yourself is not a luxury; it is an essential part of taking care of your baby. You are not alone.
