Second cohort of partner facilitators graduates
Published on

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of trainees from partner local organisations, following their completion of the Professional and Advanced Mind-Body Program.
A total of 22 participants completed the programme over nine intensive training days, learning Mind-Body skills and how to integrate them into their organisations’ services. The programme also included self-care spaces where participants practised the skills and experienced their impact personally and professionally.
Mind-body skills helped me improve my mental and physical well-being through practicing deep Soft Belly Breathing exercise. They also helped me think more clearly when interacting with my children and avoid responding with anger or frustration. I am very excited to integrate these skills into my work with the groups I support and with my colleagues. — Ahmed A.M., 32
The Mind-Body training had a significant impact in reducing the physical and emotional exhaustion I experience due to work pressures and family responsibilities. I believe that integrating Mind-Body skills will have a profound impact on the vulnerable groups I work with, as they will gain practical techniques to help them cope with daily stressors. — Saja M.M., 30
With this graduation, the facilitators are ready to lead Mind-Body sessions within their organisations and communities, and to pass these skills on to the people they serve.
