In Gaza, where challenges are immense, we believe hope is even greater.

The Hope, Healing & Resilience-Building for Gaza project (2026–2027) has launched to be closer to children, women and men across the Gaza Strip, through specialised sessions and activities in Mind-Body skills that support mental health and strengthen resilience.

The centre held a preparatory meeting with its partners to introduce the project’s components, activities, services and target groups, and to define the roles and responsibilities of all partner organisations:

  • Wefaq Society for Women and Child Care
  • Family Development Association
  • Al-Awda Community Health Association
  • Nuseirat Rehabilitation and Social Training Association

Country Director Dr. Jamil Abdel Atti opened the meeting, emphasising the centre’s vital role in alleviating the effects of psychological trauma, stress and anxiety experienced by the people of the Gaza Strip. Projects Manager Mr. Jasem Humeid presented the project’s duration, locations, activities and target groups.

We started in the field, coordinating with our partners to ensure our services reach the most vulnerable groups, and to create safe spaces for expression, support and healing.
