After 10 intensive sessions over 10 weeks, the Center for Mind-Body Medicine concluded its clinical supervision training programme, led by international trainers from the main office. It covered supervision in the specific context of the Gaza Strip, technical challenges facing facilitators, the dynamics of supervision groups, listening, empathy, intuition, the roles of supervisor and facilitator, role play, and giving feedback.
Clinical supervision training then continued for 15 staff working in current projects, over two days of 8 hours each, as a first step toward a new team specialised in clinical supervision applied in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
The training closed with the presentation of clinical supervision certificates by the training team: Dr. Jamil Abdel Atti, Dr. Ramadan Helou, and trainers Ibrahim Younis, Salwa Al-Nabahin, Asmaa Khudoura, Muna Shahwan, Yasmeen Al-Ghouti and Ahmad Al-Khaldi.
